TANZANIA VETERINARY JOURNAL
Keywords:

Volume 11 of this Journal has a total of sixteen scientific papers and two book reviews; hence the size of the Journal has remained more or less the same as Volume 10. The number of articles submitted so far however, far exceeds the number submitted at the same time last year. Delays in the editorial have meant that some articles although submitted early, will of necessity have to appear in Volume 12 of the Journal. For the first time we have book reviews on two books one on “Handbook of Animal Science” and the second ·on “Cattle embryo transfer procedure”. We hope more will be forth-coming in future volumes. There are no letters to the Editor in this Volume. Readers are encouraged to submit such letters freely. For the first time the Volume has been type - set and printed using a near letter Laser printer with standard letter - size.
As promised in the Editorial of Volume 10 the name has now been formally changed to Tanzania Veterinary Journal instead of Tanzania Veterinary Bulletin a name which had been in use since its inception. For the first time again, on each article is written the month and year of publication to indicate that the article is recent and carries current information. All those are substantial improvements and are a step forward. We would like to thank the DANIDA Project Coordinator at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for meeting some of the production costs. This Volume was type-set by Dr.R. Kazwala to whom I owe my gratitude.
