Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is under consideration by another journal.
- After submission, the author will not submit the same manuscript to another Journal without prior permission obtained from the Chief Editor of Tanzania Veterinary Journal, unless the Editor has returned the manuscript to the Author(s)
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- The text is Times New Romans, double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- Articles submitted for the first time the main manuscript should exclude Names of Author(s) and their affiliation to facilitate blind Review. However, Author details should be included in the Online Submission Form
- Revised manuscripts should contain Author details and affiliation unless otherwise advised by the Editor
- During submission authors should disclose any financial support received and the supporting agency/agencies. In addition, the statement on conflict of interest should be added after listing all the supporting agency/agencies
- By submitting the manuscript to Tanzania Veterinary Journal you grant irrevocable permission to publish the manuscript once the respective manuscript is accepted for publication by Tanzania Veterinary Journal
- By submitting the manuscript you confirm that all authors listed in the manuscript have significant contribution, have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript being submitted.
